Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake, you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to the city of Negombo.

Begin your day by returning to the campsite for a delightful breakfast.Take a refreshing shower and prepare to embark on an idyllic cycling tour through the city.Enjoy the scenic route as you pass paddy fields and man-made reservoirs on your way to the ancient city.

Upon arrival, marvel at the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, a sacred tree that originated from a branch of the bo tree in India, under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. The tour also includes visits to a few pagodas, ancient ruins, and a local village, offering a glimpse into the area's rich history and culture.

Day 10 - Galle | Colombo

Enjoy your breakfast at the campsite and prepare to leave for Galle.

During your travels, make sure to stop by the charming town of Ahangama. There, you'll witness stilt fishermen patiently waiting for their catch, their backs tanned by the relentless sun. This traditional fishing method has been passed down through generations of fishermen in the region. Continue on your journey until you reach the iconic city of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city boasts remnants of a rich colonial past, scattered lavishly throughout its borders. Be sure to visit the Galle Fort, constructed by the Portuguese in 1588. Other must-see attractions include the Dutch Museum and the Dutch Reformed Church.

Explore the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka's commercial capital, once you're finished. Take in the breathtaking beauty of this vibrant destination that boasts a richly diverse population.
