Day 01  Arrive Airport – Mirissa (Approx. 2 hours drive via express wy)

  • Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your personal chauffeur guide and transferred to Mirissa. Once you arrive at Triple O Six, a luxurious boutique hotel, spend the day at your leisure enjoying its serene ambiance and excellent facilities.


  • Overnight stay will be at Triple O Six on a Half Board basis.

  • Pick-up from your hotel and proceed to Mirissa Harbour (packed breakfast provided by the hotel or on the boat)

Whale Watching Trip Details:

  • Mirissa offers the unique possibility to see a variety of whales during their annual migration from November to April, when the continental shelf narrows south of Dondra

  • Sightings include Blue Whales, Bryde’s Whales, Sperm Whales, Fin Whales, and sometimes Killer Whales

  • You may also spot several species of dolphins such as Common, Bottlenose, Spinner, Risso’s, and Striped Dolphins, as well as turtles

Ath Athuru Sevena Elephant Transit Home'Ath Athuru Sevana' is a government-managed Elephant Transit Home located in Udawalawe, Sri Lanka. It serves as a sanctuary for orphaned, abandoned, sick, or injured baby elephants found in the jungle. The elephants are cared for and treated here until they are strong enough to be released back into the wild, ensuring their safe reintegration into their natural habitat.


Safari at Udawalawe National ParkThe half-day safari offers a thrilling 3-hour game drive with the Beyond Escapes Safari Team in Udawalawe National Park. Established to provide refuge for wildlife displaced by the creation of the Udawalawe Reservoir, the park lies at the intersection of Sri Lanka’s wet and dry zones. It is renowned for its population of Sri Lankan elephants, which often gather near the reservoir. Besides elephants, the park is home to water buffalo, monitor lizards, sambar deer, monkeys, and, occasionally, leopards. It is also a fantastic destination for birdwatchers, offering diverse avian species in a unique landscape.



Day 04: Udawalawe / Yala (Approx. 2 hours’ drive)

  • Depart Udawalawe and drive to Yala

  • Lunch at a local restaurant (payment direct)

  • Check in to Leopard Nest Glamping Site

  • Experience an afternoon safari at Yala National Park

  • Delight in a BBQ dinner under the stars, complete with a bottle of wine

  • Overnight stay at Leopard Nest on an All-Inclusive basis



Safari at Yala National ParkEnjoy a half-day, 3-hour game drive with the Beyond Escapes Safari Team. Yala National Park is home to 44 mammal species and 215 bird species. It boasts the world’s largest population of leopards, known for being more visible here than anywhere else due to their unique behavior. Other wildlife includes elephants, spotted deer, sambar, Hanuman langur, toque monkeys, mongooses, wild boar, golden jackal, monitor lizards, and marsh crocodiles. It’s also a paradise for bird lovers, offering exciting opportunities to spot diverse birdlife.


  • Depart from Leopard Nest for an early morning safari; snacks and water bottles are provided

  • Return to Leopard Nest for a late breakfast

  • Enjoy lunch at the campsite

  • Head out for an afternoon safari at Bundala National Park

Safari at Yala National ParkA half-day, 3-hour game drive with the Beyond Escapes Safari Team allows you to spot some of Sri Lanka’s most incredible wildlife. Yala is home to 44 mammal species and 215 bird species, including the world’s largest leopard population. Unlike their elusive habits in other countries, leopards are frequently spotted here. Other animals you may see include elephants, spotted deer, sambar, Hanuman langur, toque monkeys, mongooses, wild boar, golden jackal, monitor lizards, and marsh crocodiles.


Safari at Bundala National ParkThis half-day game drive also offers a 3-hour wildlife viewing experience. Bundala is a critical wintering ground for migratory water birds and hosts 197 bird species, including vast flocks of greater flamingos. The park also occasionally shelters elephants, spotted deer, sambar, Hanuman langur, toque monkeys, mongooses, wild boar, golden jackal, monitor lizards, and marsh crocodiles, making it an exciting spot for wildlife enthusiasts.


Day 6: Yala – Airport (Approx. 4 hours’ drive)


After breakfast, enjoy a comfortable drive to the airport for your departure.
