8 Day Sri Lanka Wildlife and Adventure Tour

Experience Sri Lanka's Exceptional Biodiversity on a Tour of Its National Parks Sri Lanka has been named one of the world's top twenty-five biodiversity hotspots, offering a distinctive wilderness experience. Our tour will take you on exciting game drives, treks, cycling, hiking, and whitewater rafting excursions in some of the most popular national parks. You'll also have the opportunity to camp in Yala National Park and enjoy a fantastic BBQ dinner.

Day 1 - Colombo - Bentota

You will be picked up from airport or your hotel in Negombo, Colombo and Mount Lavinia by your guide and driven to Waskaduwa.

Overnight at Citrus Waskaduwa or Similar hotel on B&B basis

Day 2 - Bentota - Sinharaja

Experience the Wonders of Madu River and Sinharaja Rainforest in Sri Lanka Enjoy a boat ride through the stunning Madu River after breakfast. The river's incredible biodiversity boasts a wide range of aquatic and avian life, as well as wetland-dwelling amphibians, reptiles, and mammals – a natural treasure worth exploring. Next, you'll be driven to Sinharaja, a world heritage site and popular ecotourism destination in Sri Lanka (approximately a 3-hour drive).

In the afternoon, take a guided trekking tour through the Sinharaja Rainforest and marvel at the breathtaking scenery.

Spend the night at Rainforest Eco Lodge or Similar hotel on a B&B basis.

Day 3 - Sinharaja - Udawalawa

Explore Udawalawe National Park with a Game Drive and check in at Grand Udawalawe Start the day with breakfast before embarking on a scenic four-hour drive to Udawalawe. Upon arrival, check in to the Grand Udawalawe hotel.

In the late afternoon, set out on a game drive in the National Park to witness the diverse water bird population and Sri Lankan elephants.

Spend the night at the Grand Udawalawe or a similar hotel on B&B basis

Day 4 - Udawalawa - Yala

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before leaving for Yala (about a 2-hour drive) Once you arrive, we'll head over to the campsite where we'll be spending the night In the late afternoon, take a game drive at Yala National Park, which is known for its leopards

After the game drive, you can unwind at the campsite and enjoy a BBQ dinner in the midst of the jungle.

Finally, retire for the night at the campsite.

Day 5 - Yala - Ella

Explore Ella's Natural Beauty Join us after breakfast as we transport you to Ella, which is approximately a 3-hour drive. In the afternoon, enjoy a trekking tour with your guide to witness Ella Gap, Little Adam's Peak, and Rawana Waterfalls.

You will be spending the night at Mount Heaven or a similar hotel, with accommodations on a B&B basis.

Day 6 - Ella - Nuwara Eliya

A Day's Itinerary for Horton Plains Visit Start your day with a hearty breakfast, then prepare for the two-hour drive to Horton Plains. Once there, take a guided walk along the nature trails to reach the World's End viewpoint.

After a day of exploring, rest up at the Grand Camellia or a hotel of similar quality, where you'll enjoy bed and breakfast accommodations.

Day 7 - Nuwara Eliya - Kitulgala

Exciting Activities Await You in Kitulgala! Start your day with breakfast before embarking on a thrilling whitewater rafting adventure at Kelani River in Kitulgala. Afterwards, take a leisurely cycling tour of the village in the afternoon.

Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Plantation Villa or a similar hotel where breakfast is included.

Optional excursions and additional services could be provided for which we will charge additionally. Visits to wildlife parks will be at client's own risk.

Safari vehicles (none air-conditioned) available are very basic with basic insurance cover (not comprehensive as in the case of vehicles used for tours).
