This biodiversity hyper hotspot boasts a variety of ecologies, including Wetland Marshes, Mangroves, Rain Forest, Dry Evergreen Forests, and Cloud Forests in the highlands, all offering mesmerizing landscapes for long-range scenic shots. And let's not forget about some of the world's most stunning sandy beaches.


Our photographic tours are tailored to photographers with a primary interest in capturing the top wildlife, nature, and cultural locations in Sri Lanka. While we aim to take you to a large spectrum of birds and animals, our focus is on providing ample opportunities for photography rather than simply counting species.


Day 01 to Day 03 - Wilpattu


Arriving at Wilpattu: A Wildlife Photographer's Dream Upon your arrival, you will be transported to Wilpattu for two full days of exciting jeep safaris to photograph the park's wildlife. As the oldest and largest national park in Sri Lanka, Wilpattu is famed for being the best location to spot leopards in their natural habitat.


Additionally, the park is home to the highly endangered Sloth Bear, making it the perfect destination for bear enthusiasts.


Overnight stay in Wilpattu.


Day 2 - Bentota - Sinharaja


Experience the Wonders of Madu River and Sinharaja Rainforest in Sri Lanka Enjoy a boat ride through the stunning Madu River after breakfast. The river's incredible biodiversity boasts a wide range of aquatic and avian life, as well as wetland-dwelling amphibians, reptiles, and mammals – a natural treasure worth exploring. Next, you'll be driven to Sinharaja, a world heritage site and popular ecotourism destination in Sri Lanka (approximately a 3-hour drive).


In the afternoon, take a guided trekking tour through the Sinharaja Rainforest and marvel at the breathtaking scenery.


Spend the night at Rainforest Eco Lodge or Similar hotel on a B&B basis.


Day 04 to Day 05 - Wasgamuwa


Experience the Wonders of Wasgamuwa: A Full Day Wildlife Jeep Safari

Wasgamuwa National Park boasts one of the highest levels of biodiversity among Sri Lanka's protected areas, making it a must-visit destination. The park's tropical dry mixed evergreen forest is home to a variety of mammal species, including herds of majestic elephants.


Additionally, you can observe endemic monkeys such as the purple-faced langur and toque macaque, while water buffalo and Sri Lankan axis deer are a common sight. Although spotting the elusive Sri Lanka leopard and sloth bear are rare, you may be lucky enough to see them.

Day 06 to Day 08 - Kumana


Explore Kumana's Wildlife: A Two-Day Safari Adventure Embark on a thrilling two-day jeep safari in Kumana National Park, Sri Lanka, and capture some stunning wildlife photographs. The park is renowned for its avifauna, especially the migratory waterfowl and wading birds that flock there.

Kumana is also a crucial bird nesting and breeding sanctuary in Sri Lanka. But that's not all – the park is home to several mammals found in the nearby Yala National Park, including elephants, leopards, golden jackals, wild boars, various deer species, monkeys, and even the rare sloth bear.

Day 09 to Day 12 - Kataragama l Yala


Travel to Kataragama. Wildlife Photography Adventure in Sri Lanka Looking for a restful and fun vacation?

Take a leisurely walk to the nearby wetlands to take some amazing photos. For the more adventurous, embark on two full-day jeep safaris at Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's oldest and most renowned park. The park's diverse habitats, including scrub jungles, water reservoirs, brackish lagoons, and riverine habitats, make it an ideal location to photograph Sri Lankan leopards and sloth bears.


For a more relaxed pace, take a full-day jeep safari at Lunugamvehera National Park. This park serves as an elephant corridor between Yala and Udawalawe National Parks. You can frequently find Sri Lankan elephants, leopards, water buffalo, Sri Lankan sambar deer, wild boar, spotted deer, and mugger crocodiles here.


In addition, large water birds such as Grey heron, Black-headed ibis, Asian Openbill, Painted stork, and Spot billed Pelican, along with a variety of raptors, can be seen. Lunugamvehera is a lovely, small national park with beautiful water reservoirs. With fewer disturbances, you can watch and photograph sloth bears and leopards. This is an experience that you will never forget.

Day 13 - Udawalawe


Travel to Udawalawe.


Afternoon, wildlife photographing jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park. Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka is famous for its elephant safari, where visitors can witness large herds of elephants and other mammals roaming the grasslands and bathing in the river. T

he park's scenic beauty comes from the Udawalawe Reservoir, which serves as a stunning backdrop, and several waterfalls, including the popular Diyawanna Falls.

It is a must visit for people who want to experience Sri Lanka's incredible wildlife and natural landscapes.

Day 14 to Day 15 - Udawalawe l Airport


Get ready for another half-day of thrilling wildlife photography on a jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park!


After the safari, we will transfer you to a hotel that's closer to the airport, in preparation for your departure the next day.


If you're interested, you can extend your stay and relax at a beach resort for an additional cost.


Alternatively, you can also opt to take a Blue Whale watching boat trip for an additional cost

Optional excursions and additional services could be provided for which we will charge additionally. Visits to wildlife parks will be at client's own risk.

Safari vehicles (none air-conditioned) available are very basic with basic insurance cover (not comprehensive as in the case of vehicles used for tours).
