Discover the Thrilling Wildlife of Sri Lanka with an Exciting Tour Embark on a journey to explore the breathtaking nature and wildlife attractions of this island paradise. Trek, hike and explore nature trails, and take part in game drives in wildlife sanctuaries renowned for their unique wildlife offerings. This tour provides an opportunity to come face-to-face with incredible animals such as leopards, elephants, spotted deer, sambar, hanuman langur, toque monkeys, stripe-necked and ruddy mongooses, wild boar, golden jackal, land and water monitors, marsh crocodiles, and countless bird species.



Day 1 - Colombo to Kitulgala


Your personal chauffeur guide will warmly welcome you at Bandaranaike International Colombo Airport or any other location of your choosing.

They will then transport you to Kithulgala, which will take approximately three hours. Once you arrive in Kithulgala, check in to the Borderlands Campsite.


Take in the beautiful views and enjoy dinner before spending the night in one of their river edge tents.


Day 2 - Kitulgala


Action-Packed Adventure Day: Whitewater Rafting and Hiking in Kithulgala

Join us for an adrenaline-fueled day of rafting and hiking! After a hearty breakfast, our expert guide will provide a safety briefing and rafting tips before we hit the water. Brace yourself for rapids ranging from grades 2 to 3 on the thrilling 6.5-kilometer stretch. Depending on water levels, the ride will take between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.

After lunch at the beautiful Borderlands Campsite, enjoy a leisurely break before embarking on a scenic hike through the local forests of Kithulgala. Take in stunning views of the Kelani River Valley, the lush jungle, and the rocky crags of the Hill Country while passing by friendly, smiling villagers.


Return to the river edge tents for a delicious dinner and a well-deserved rest.


Day 3 - Kitulgala to Knuckles Mountain Range


Embark on an Adventure to Meemure Village and Surrounding Areas Begin by leaving your hotel and heading to Hunnasgiriya, where you'll be greeted by your nature guide. From there, you'll journey to Meemure village. Along the way, enjoy exciting water activities and get a glimpse of the unique traditions and authenticity of the village people, who were once occupied by tea estate workers during the colonial era.

Refuel with a delicious traditional Sri Lankan lunch at a village house before arriving at the campsite for evening tea. Take in the stunning surroundings, sit by the bonfire, and indulge in a mouth-watering BBQ dinner.


End the day by spending the night in a comfortable standard tent at the campsite.


Day 4 - Knuckles Mountain Range to Gal Oya National Park


Experience the Thrilling Wildlife of Gal Oya National Park Start your day with a sumptuous breakfast before heading out to Gal Oya National Park. Upon arrival, check in to one of our eco-friendly wooden bungalows at Gal Oya Lodge, and enjoy a delicious lunch. Your first adventure begins with an exciting jeep safari through the park, where you'll encounter a diverse range of flora and fauna.

The park is home to 32 species of terrestrial mammals, and for the more adventurous guests, you can take a foot safari guided by our expert naturalists. Take in the stunning views of the park as you hike and explore its hidden corners.


End your day with dinner at the main restaurant of the lodge before retiring to your bungalow for the night.



Day 5 - Gal Oya National Park to Udawalawa


Embark on an Exciting Boat Safari in Sri Lanka's National Park Take a thrilling ride with a guide through the national park to experience the wildlife from a unique vantage point – the water. You'll be able to fully immerse yourself in the animals' habitat and witness incredible sights such as elephants swimming between islands or bathing at the lake's edge.

After returning to your lodge, we'll continue our journey to Udawalawe, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.


Upon arrival, check in to the luxurious Grand Udawalawe Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 6 -  Udawalawa


Experience the Wildlife of Udawalawe National Park with an Early Morning Safari Embark on an exciting early morning safari at Udawalawe National Park, which was created to serve as a refuge for wild animals displaced by the Udawalawe Reservoir's construction. Situated on the border of Sri Lanka's wet and dry zones, the park provides an excellent opportunity to observe Sri Lankan Elephants, which are usually challenging to spot in open habitats.

After the safari, you can take it easy for the remainder of the day.


Enjoy lunch and dinner and spend the night at the luxurious Grand Udawalawe Safari Lodge


Day 7 - Udawalawa to Yala


Experience the Best of Yala and Bundala National Park After breakfast, we'll drive you to Yala .Check in to Leopard Nest Campsite, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch In the afternoon, we'll take you to Bundala National Park. Bundala is home to an impressive 197 bird species, with the greater flamingo being the highlight as they migrate in large flocks Keep an eye out for every species of water bird found in the country, including migrants and vagrants from as far as Siberia From October to March, you might see over 10,000 shorebirds feeding at any one time.


The day will wrap up with a BBQ dinner at the campsite, followed by an overnight stay.


Day 8 - Yala


Embark on a Full-Day Game Drive at Yala National Park with Picnic Lunch Begin your adventure early and experience all that Yala has to offer with a full day game drive, complete with a picnic lunch. Yala is the natural habitat for 44 mammal species and 215 bird species. Most notably, it boasts the world's largest concentration of leopards, making it a must-see destination.


After the game drive, enjoy a satisfying dinner and an overnight stay at the Leopard Nest Campsite.


Day 9 - Yala to Bentota


After leisurely breakfast, you will be taken to Bentota for the overnight.


En route, you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner and Overnight stay at Citrus Waskaduwa.


Day 10 - Bentota to Colombo


After breakfast, you will be driven to Airport for your flight back home.

Safari vehicles (none air-conditioned) available are very basic with basic insurance cover (not comprehensive as in the case of vehicles used for tours)
