A Romantic Getaway in Sri Lanka: Experience the Best of Sightseeing and Intimacy Join us on this seven-day honeymoon tour that highlights some of the most romantic spots in Sri Lanka. Indulge in a candlelit dinner, a private Beach BBQ night, and a cruise dinner, all while enjoying exciting activities such as whale watching and a leopard safari at Yala National Park. In addition, we'll take you on a tour of two breathtaking hill country cities.


Day 01 - Colombo


Arriving at Bandaranaike International airport, a personal chauffeur guide will warmly welcome you before taking you to Negombo (approximately 30 minutes).

After settling in at the hotel, the day is yours to relax and enjoy the various facilities offered. In the evening, head to a nearby river where you will embark on a romantic private cruise dinner. Board a beautifully decorated ferry that glides around 300-500 meters at a leisurely pace along the scenic river. The ferry is adorned with natural lanterns, providing a serene atmosphere as you are attended to by your personal butler, chef, and ferryman. Choose from three specially crafted 4-course dinner menus featuring seafood, meat, or Sri Lankan/Eastern specialties.

A bottle of sparkling wine will be served to complement your meal, with tea and coffee offered after dinner.

Day 02 - Colombo - Mirissa


After breakfast, you will be driven to Balapitiya (Approx. 3 hrs.’ drive).


Explore the Wonders of Balapitiya and Kosgoda Join us for a thrilling adventure by embarking on a boat ride through the Madu Ganga river, a stunning natural wonder boasting unique mangrove vegetation and fascinating caves. This unspoiled lagoon stretches across a 915-hectare coastal wetland ecosystem that connects to the Indian Ocean. Take in the views of kraal-fishing constructions and observe the fishermen rowing their boats to retrieve their daily catch. Along the way, stop at temple island, enjoy fish therapy, and visit a cinnamon island. After this fantastic journey, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a sea turtle conservation project operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka.

Here, you can witness the burial of eggs in the sand, and after approximately 50 days, watch as the baby turtles are released into the sea at night. The Turtle Hatchery also houses tanks for injured or disabled turtles, including rare albino turtles that would not survive in the sea.

Day 03 - Mirissa - Yala


Embark on an Exciting Whale Watching Tour at Mirissa Fishery Harbor.


Start your day with a delicious breakfast before being transferred to Mirissa fishery harbor for a fantastic whale watching tour. You'll have the opportunity to see a variety of whales, including Blue Whales and Sperm Whales, during their annual migration from November to April when the continental shelf is narrow to the South of Dondra. This makes Mirissa one of the best places in the world for whale watching. Keep a lookout for other marine life like dolphins and turtles in the area as well. You may spot Blue whales, Bryde´s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales, and even Killer whales if you're lucky, along with Common Dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner Dolphins, Risso's Dolphins and Striped Dolphins.


After the tour, you will be driven to Yala (approximately a 3-hour drive) and check in to Leopard Nest luxury campsite. In the evening, you'll be taken to a private beach where you can enjoy a romantic BBQ dinner with a bottle of wine.

Day 04 - Yala


Experience an Early Morning Safari at Yala National Park.


Start your day off right by embarking on an exciting early morning game drive at Yala National Park. Witness a variety of animals, including elephants, spotted deer, sambar, hanuman langur, toque monkey, stripe-necked and ruddy mongooses, wild boar, golden jackal, land and water monitor, and marsh crocodile, in addition to spotting the elusive leopard. During the three-hour safari, we provide light refreshments, water bottles, and breakfast to keep you going. Once the safari is complete, return to the campsite and enjoy the excellent facilities at your leisure for a few hours. For lunch, we will take you to one of the beautiful outdoor locations near the campsite, where you can indulge in a rock wine tasting experience while enjoying your meal.


After lunch, head back to the campsite and spend the evening at your leisure.


Finally, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the luxurious Leopard Nest campsite located within the Yala National Park.

Day 05 - Yala - Nuwara Eliya


Explore Nuwara Eliya with a City Tour and Romantic Dinner.


Begin your day with breakfast before embarking on a 4 and a half hour drive to Nuwara Eliya. This charming town, also known as Little England, enjoys a pleasant spring-like climate throughout the year. Once a favorite retreat for the British during colonial times, Nuwara Eliya is filled with English-style country homes and half-timbered bungalows.


During your visit, be sure to see Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, and the 19th century Golf Club as you tour the city. In the evening, head to Calamander Lake for a delightful candlelit dinner by the serene Gregory Lake.

Day 06 - Nuwara Eliya - Kandy


Discover Kandy: A Journey Through Tea Plantations and Sacred Sites Begin your day after breakfast with a scenic drive to Kandy, which takes approximately two and a half hours. Marvel at the lush greenery and expansive tea plantations that surround you on your journey. Stop by a tea factory to witness the Ceylon tea-making process and savor a cup of pure tea.


In the afternoon, embark on a city tour of Kandy. Known as the hill capital or Hill country, Kandy was the last refuge of Sinhalese kings after the Portuguese, Dutch, and British ruled Sri Lanka. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha is one of the most sacred sites in the world, making Kandy a hub for Buddhists.

Experience the scenic upper lake drive before visiting art and craft centers, a gem lapidary, and a traditional cultural show. These stops will give you insight into the city's significance in Buddhism, arts, crafts, dancing, music, and culture.

Day 07 - Kandy - Colombo


After breakfast, you will be driven to airport for your flight back home (Approx. 3 hrs. drive).
