Day 01: Airport → Kandy

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your chauffeur guide and transferred to Kandy. Check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and enjoying the facilities.

Day 02: Kandy

Begin the day with a visit to Madulkelle Hatale Tea Factory for an immersive tea experience. Learn about the journey from leaf to cup, try tea picking alongside estate workers, and enjoy a guided tasting of premium teas amidst panoramic Knuckles Mountain views.

In the afternoon, explore the highlights of Kandy City, including Bahirawakanda Temple, the Upper Lake Drive, local art and craft centers, and the sacred Temple of the Tooth. Round off the day with a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance, showcasing drummers, fire dancers, and vibrant folklore.

Day 03: Kandy → Knuckles

After breakfast, travel into the Knuckles Mountain Range, a UNESCO-listed natural wonder. On arrival, embark on a scenic waterfall trekking adventure, complete with a picnic lunch amid nature. Enjoy the thrill of exploring forested trails, cool streams, and cascading falls, guided with safety and care.

Day 04: Knuckles

Today’s highlight is a visit to the remote and traditional Meemure Village. Experience a guided walk through pristine forests, rice fields, and local hamlets. Share a home-cooked Sri Lankan lunch with villagers and learn about their eco-friendly lifestyle and centuries-old traditions.

Return to your hotel or campsite and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 05: Knuckles → Mahiyanganaya

Depart for Mahiyanganaya and enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch at Rathna Ella village. Later, set out on a waterfall trekking tour, where you will hike through forests to discover the stunning Rathna Ella—the tallest waterfall in the Kandy region. Along the trail, spot the majestic Kaluwa Wetuna Ella before concluding the trek with a visit to traditional pottery makers and local handicraft artisans.

Day 06: Mahiyanganaya

Begin the day with a magical experience at Sorabora Lake. Take a catamaran boat ride at sunrise, watch traditional lake fishing, and enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast served on a rock boulder with breathtaking views. Following this, try village-style activities like cow milking, swinging by the lake, or cycling through green countryside landscapes.

In the afternoon, visit the Dambana Wedda Village, home of Sri Lanka’s indigenous forest-dwelling community. Gain insight into their ancestral way of life, traditions, and survival skills.

Day 07: Mahiyanganaya → Dambulla / Sigiriya

Travel to Dambulla/Sigiriya, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant (direct payment).

In the afternoon, climb the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century. Explore its frescoes, landscaped gardens, and the fortress atop the summit, admired as one of the island’s most iconic landmarks.

Day 08: Dambulla / Sigiriya → Airport
