ITINERARY

6:00 - Pick up from your hotel in Colombo, Negombo or Mount Lavinia and driven to Sigiriya

10:30 - Begin your journey by scaling the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, renowned for its golden-hued granite monolith jutting into the blue sky. This geological wonder stands tall during a hot, level scrub-land and is transformed into a water garden during the rainy season.

13:30 - Enjoy your lunch at a local Restaurant

15:00 - Exploring the Wonders of Dambulla Cave TempleDiscover the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, constructed by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. This temple is considered the most impressive among Sri Lanka's cave temples. The temple complex comprises of five caves, showcasing over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings. In fact, it contains the largest area of paintings found in the world. Admire the remarkable collection of over 150 Buddha images, including the colossal rock-carved Buddha that spans 14 meters – the largest of its kind.

16:30 - Leave Dambulla and proceed back to your hotel.

21:00 - You will be dropped off at your hotel in Colombo, Negombo or Mount Lavinia
