Experience the Wonders of the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

At the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, visitors have the opportunity to observe and interact with elephants in their natural habitat. Watch as they play and bathe in the river with their herd, and even feed a baby elephant with a bottle of milk. It's an excellent chance to get up close with these majestic creatures and capture some unforgettable moments through photography

ITINERARY

08:00 - You will be picked up from your hotel in selected cities and driven to Pinnawala.

10:30 - Exploring Pinnawala Elephant OrphanageAfter arriving at Pinnawala, you'll learn about the orphanage's origin story. Established in 1975 with just seven orphaned elephants, the orphanage has since implemented a successful breeding program with the help of local and foreign elephant experts. They welcomed their first baby elephant in 1984. Make sure to catch the elephant bathing experience and snap some beautiful photos of the playful baby elephants frolicking in the river.

12:00 - Enjoy Lunch at Elephant Bay Restaurant with Chilled beer or Fruit juice

13:15 - Take a walk to the elephant park to see baby elephants being bottle fed.

14:00 - Leave the Elephant Orphanage and proceed back to your hotel.

17:00 - Arrive back at your hotel.
