You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Galle where you will meet your cycling guide.

Our cycling guide will welcome you and give a brief introduction about the tour before collecting your helmets and bicycles. Start cycling to the city of Galle with your guide. Along the route you can see the day to day activities of the local people and fishermen.

Upon arriving in Galle, enter the historic Dutch Fort through its old gateway. Spanning 52 hectares (130 acres), this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a remarkable collection of landmarks. Highlights include the Dutch Reformed Church with its belfry dating back to 1707, the old Dutch government house, the Commander’s residence, and the Great Warehouse built in 1669—now housing the National Maritime Museum. You will also encounter the Old Dutch Hospital, the Meera Mosque (1904), a Buddhist temple built on the site of a former Portuguese church, the All Saints Anglican Church (1871), the Clock Tower (1882), and the Galle Lighthouse (1939), among many other historical gems. Exploring this living heritage site on a cycling tour offers an unforgettable experience that lingers for a lifetime.

After cycling inside the Galle Fort, we come out from the New Entrance that was constructed in 1873. We will also visit Murugan Hindu Temple that was established in 1790 and fruit and vegetable market established in 1880.
