Day 3: Exploring Colombo

Day 4: Colombo to Dambulla

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing for a scenic journey to Dambulla. After lunch, explore the renowned Dambulla Rock Temple, home to a stunning collection of caves featuring over 2,000 square meters of murals and centuries-old sculptures.
Day 5: Dambulla to Anuradhapura

Set off early for the ancient city of Anuradhapura, the spiritual heart of Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. En route, visit the serene village of Mihintale and its sacred mountain and temple complex. Day 6: Sigiriya Excursion

Day 7: Dambulla to Passikudah via Polonnaruwa

Depart Dambulla after breakfast and travel to Polonnaruwa, where you will explore the well-preserved ruins of this ancient garden-city. After your visit, continue to the coastal town of Passikudah.
Day 8: Leisure in Passikudah

Spend the day at your own pace, enjoying the pristine beaches of Passikudah. Relax on the soft, powdery sands or swim in the clear waters of Sri Lanka's tranquil east coast.
Day 9: Passikudah to Kandy

After breakfast, travel to the picturesque city of Kandy. On the way, visit a spice garden in Matale. Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth, which houses Sri Lanka's most sacred Buddhist relic—a tooth of Buddha—arriving in time for the evening pooja ceremony.
Day 10: Kandy Sightseeing

Today, journey through the lush hills to Nuwara Eliya, the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country. En route, visit a tea plantation to learn about the process and sample the world-renowned Ceylon tea. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and settle into your hotel.
Day 12: Nuwara Eliya to Udawalawe

Enjoy a morning tour of Nuwara Eliya, famous for its lush tea plantations and colonial charm. Continue to the village of Ella, where you'll have lunch with panoramic views of the surrounding misty landscapes.
Day 13: Udawalawe to Tissamaharama

Embark on an early morning Jeep safari through Udawalawe National Park, known for its abundant elephant population. After the safari, visit the nearby Elephant Transit Home, a rehabilitation center for orphaned and injured elephants. In the afternoon, explore Katharagama Temple, a harmonious site for all four of Sri Lanka's major religions.
Day 14: Tissamaharama to Yala National Park

After a leisurely morning, head to Yala National Park for an afternoon Jeep safari. As you explore the park, keep an eye out for elephants, deer, sloths, and perhaps even one of the park's elusive leopards.
Day 15: Tissamaharama to Mirissa

Depart Tissamaharama and travel to the coastal town of Mirissa. Here, you'll find a peaceful crescent of golden sand, lined with coconut palms—the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the ocean.
Day 16: Mirissa and Galle Excursion

Visit the historic city of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its well-preserved colonial architecture and fort. Stroll through its quaint streets, lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and museums. Return to Mirissa for a relaxing evening by the beach.
Day 17: Departure from Colombo

After breakfast, transfer to Colombo for your return flight to the UK or continue with an optional extension to explore more of Sri Lanka.
